Author Keith M. Donaldson will be at ‘The Book Exchange’, 211 Western Blvd, Jacksonville, NC on March 3 from 11 am to 3 pm. Donaldson will talk about and sign his acclaimed murder mystery - “Death of an Intern”.

Coming in May is Donaldson's "Rude Awakenings", which previewers are calling prescient and clairvoyant. The irony of "Rude Awakenings" is that real life is catching up to this fictional story as many things in the book that was written in 2008-09 and is now being reissued by BQB Publishing are becoming come true; the political right and left are getting so far apart that the middle 60% of the US population are being ignored. "Rude" also includes many more political horors tha may yet become true - like a third major party, the
National Centrist Party of America.
In "Rude"A, Centrist candidtates, businessman Mike Macdonald and former governor Bryanna Dudley form the new party with tremendous financial backing and common sense ideas. They are successful in wining the White House, and help enough Centrist candidates to gain seats in both the US Senate and House, to create an effective three party Congress where no one party has the majority.
This book is considerably more than a battle over national finances, as you will quickly learn when you turn the page. On the new president's first day in office, a nuclear explosion devastates Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Canada. Something that I most assuredly do not want to have replicated in real life. This is, after all, a work of fiction.
"Rude" is not without humor, engaging characters, and a secretly rekindled romance for the widower Macdonald that becomes intrinsically entwined with the investigation of who bombed the US.
